An Employer of Record is a service arrangement in which a local provider employs a worker on behalf of another company.
Smart Outsourcing Solution acts as the legal employer in the Philippines and manages the related employment administration. The customer continues to direct the employee’s daily work, including tasks, objectives, workflow, schedules and performance management.

Salary, employer statutory contributions, 13th-month pay, HMO or other benefits, allowances, equipment and other employee-specific costs are separate where applicable.
Recruitment is not assumed to be included in the standard EOR management fee and should be confirmed separately.
Under the standard EOR pricing structure, there is no onboarding fee, exit or termination fee, FX markup or separate provider charge. Employee-specific costs and approved third-party costs remain separate.

Existing employees can generally be onboarded in as little as five business days once the applicable agreement, employee information, required documentation and funding are complete.
The five-day commitment covers employment setup, payroll, HRIS enrolment and applicable statutory registrations.
