The Challenge
Professional Dentistry UK, an association catering to the UK’s dental industry, faced a significant challenge with their existing database. Their database, comprising dentists and suppliers within the dental industry, was outdated, corrupted, and not compliant with data protection laws. The inaccurate and non-compliant database hindered their ability to effectively connect with members and potential suppliers, impacting their operations and outreach efforts.
The Smart Solution
SOS undertook the task of revitalizing Professional Dentistry UK’s database. Our initial step was to cleanse their existing database of 20,000 records, out of which 60% were found to be inaccurate. We meticulously updated and verified each entry, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
Following the cleanup, we expanded the database by adding an additional 35,000 records, encompassing virtually all dental clinics in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. This expansion significantly broadened the association’s reach within the dental community.
We didn’t stop at just updating and expanding the database. Recognizing the association’s role in connecting dentists with suppliers, we initiated an outreach campaign to potential suppliers. Our team compiled a global list of over 1,000 potential suppliers interested in marketing to dentists and participating in trade shows.
The outreach process involved setting up meetings through outbound emails and calls, which were then finalized by a UK national.
