JOB POSITION:

Growth Marketing Manager

Last Updated:October 26, 2026

Job Overview:

Set up: Remote | Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

Type: Full time

Schedule: US Eastern Business Hours Required

Salary: TBD

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own demand generation for a US-based
marketing consultancy serving high-ticket service businesses — and to help build the
client work that consultancy sells.

Those are the same job. The consultancy teaches companies how to find and convert
high-value buyers. Building our own funnel in GoHighLevel is the same work as building a
client’s, on a different logo. So you’d split your time between generating our leads and
helping produce what clients receive, and the skills transfer in both directions. What you
build for us becomes a reference case. What you learn on clients makes our own engine
better.

There is a lot of green field here. The company has strong intellectual property, a defined
buyer, and roughly 30,000 prospects who have never been mailed. What it does not yet
have is a working acquisition engine. Building that is the first job.

This is not an entry-level position, and it is not a role where you’ll be handed a campaign
brief. You’d be deciding what to build.

What You’ll Do

GoHighLevel Ownership

  • Own GoHighLevel as the demand system of record — funnels, pipelines, sequences,
    forms, calendars, tagging and attribution
  • Build and maintain landing pages and conversion paths
  • Keep the data clean: deduplication, tag hygiene, working attribution you’d stake a
    decision on.
  • Build the reporting so performance is visible without anyone asking for a number
  • Proactively suggest new campaign ideas and functionality to enhance lead flow.

Demand Generation

  • Build the acquisition engine from the ground up: lead magnets, opt-in paths, nurture sequences, and booking flows.
  • Activate a list of roughly 30,000 prospects that has never been mailed — segmentation, warming, deliverability, and cadence.
  • Run email and content-driven campaigns end to end, from concept through measurement.
  • Coordinate with the SEO agency and other outside partners on what the site and content need to do.
  • Test deliberately, one variable at a time, with a result you can defend.

Client-Facing Work

  • Research prospective clients ahead of a pitch: market, competitive set, funnel teardown, and where their revenue is leaking.
  • Assemble pitch materials and client deliverables from the CEO’s diagnostic findings.
  • Build client-facing funnels, sequences, and campaign architecture as part of engagement work.
  • Bring what you learn on client accounts back into our own engine.

Reporting & Rhythm

  • Report weekly on funnel performance using measurable data, without being asked.
  • Flag underperforming campaigns or funnel issues early, with actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain campaign documentation in Notion to ensure processes, decisions, and insights are documented and accessible.

Requirements

Experience & Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • Minimum 5 years in growth marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations, with measurable results you can clearly explain.
  • 3+ years of daily, hands-on GoHighLevel experience. You should be able to build funnels, pipelines, and automations independently without looking up instructions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in email marketing, including segmentation, deliverability, list warming, and lifecycle sequences.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write buyer-facing copy and client-facing materials.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and deciding what to build without waiting for a brief.
  • Analytically honest, reporting actual results rather than the results you hoped to achieve.
  • Comfortable working US Eastern business hours.

Apple Ecosystem Proficiency (Required)

This business runs in an Apple-first environment — files, notes and archives live in Apple formats. You need to work comfortably in macOS day to day.

Note: if you do not currently own or regularly use an Apple computer, this role is not the right fit. We verify this during screening.

AI Fluency (Required)

This role runs on AI-assisted work. Claude is used daily — research, campaign copy, competitive teardowns, first drafts of client material. You must be genuinely capable with it, not merely aware of it.

  • Daily hands-on use of Claude or a comparable AI assistant in a professional setting.
  • Ability to write clear prompts, critically evaluate outputs, and refine or correct them as needed.
  • Comfort building repeatable AI-assisted workflows rather than relying on one-off requests.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with paid media buying, particularly Meta Ads and YouTube Ads.
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress.
  • SEO expertise sufficient to guide and coordinate with an external agency.
  • Experience building and optimizing webinar or video sales letter (VSL) funnels.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Make.com or Zapier.

Core Stack

Tool Used for
GoHighLevel Funnels, pipelines, sequences, forms, and attribution — your primary workspace
Google Workspace Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Meet
Notion Campaign documentation and the company system of record
Claude Daily research, copy drafting, and client material
Canva Campaign creative and light design
Slack Day-to-day communication
Semrush Keyword, competitive, and traffic research

You don’t need to be expert in all seven on day one. GoHighLevel and Claude are the two where we expect real fluency.

The Ideal Candidate

You like building the machine more than running someone else’s. You’ve been the person who inherited a messy CRM and made it into something trustworthy, or who took a list nobody had touched and turned it into pipeline.

You’re comfortable being measured. The number that matters here is qualified conversations created, and you’d want to see it every week rather than be shielded from
it.

You can hold two jobs at once without letting one eat the other. Client work always has a deadline and a payer; our own marketing has neither. We’ll protect the time structurally, but we also want someone who notices when the balance is slipping and says so.

And you’re interested in the subject matter. This company exists because qualified buyers stall and choose someone else for reasons nobody measures. If that problem is interesting to you rather than just a category you’d be marketing, you’ll do well here and you’ll learn a great deal.

This is probably not for you if you want a defined brief each quarter, a big team, or a role
where someone else owns the number.

Working Conditions

Responsive, not chained to a chair. Most of this work is yours to sequence. You may work largely independently for days at a time. But when you’re needed for a client call or to move something quickly, a fast response is necessary.

Reliable power and internet are part of the job. We know outages happen. What we ask is a setup that keeps them from becoming our problem — and the company is open to funding it: a portable power station, a UPS, a backup connection on a second carrier, or a coworking space you can fall back to. Tell us what you’d need. If something knocks you offline, we want to hear quickly and know what shifts.

Compensation & Benefits

Category Details
Compensation Competitive and commensurate with experience.
Employment Type Full-time. Engagement structure depends on your location and will be confirmed during the process.
Paid Time Off Paid vacation and sick leave, plus your local public holidays.
Equipment Equipment and connectivity stipend, discussed during onboarding.
Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week, on US Eastern business hours.

We want you to feel secure, supported, and able to do your best work.
